摘要：In this talk, we show that the moduli stacks of Drinfeld shtukas are irreducible. We use auxiliary moduli spaces to reduce the problem to the connectedness of the boundary of the Drinfeld-Lafforgue compactification. Our proof is geometric in nature and independent of the Arthur–Selberg trace formula.
